I love WordPress 🤩 – and Model Prices is of course running on WordPress too 👍

Because I already created an API, it was only natural to create a simple WordPress widget that connects to the API and displays the cheapest price for a specific model train model.

The plugin is called “Model Trains Data” and it implements the shortcode “model_trains_data_min_price”. Using shortcode parameters, you can display data from the API. Like this:

[model_trains_data_min_price brand='marklin' model='30000' currency='EUR' api-key='API-KEY']

If you want the displayed link to be styled a bit, you can add a CSS class parameter. Like this:

[model_trains_data_min_price brand='marklin' model='30000' currency='EUR' api-key='API-KEY' css-class='fh-underline-link']

The models supported by the plugin match the ones listed in the sitemap.
