Improved brand pages
In August, I improved the brand pages a lot (pages like the Marklin page and the Fleischmann page). Previously, these pages just listed teasers for the different categories that brands covered. Now, they work much like catalog pages (pages like the rolling stock page).

Improved categorization
In August I also improved the algorithm that categorize products. Previously this was a half-manual process, but now it’s fully automated. Important since it used to take a lot of time categorizing products (that’s the way it is when you have a half-manual process and 130,000+ products).
Stock levels coming soon
Probably the most requested feature by the users of my site is stock levels, i.e. that I display whether shops have the products in stock or not. This month I have written a lot of code to handle this, so I think it’s safe to say stock levels are coming soon 😅
Price error popup
Mistakes happen. Shops might change without me noticing it, so I have added a error reporting popup to the site. When you click a price, a link to report any errors now appear. And if that link is clicked, the error popup below appears.
When submit is clicked in the error popup, I get a message about it and can take a look at the issue – and fix it too 👍
Stats
There are now 1,285 shops on the site + 132,310 models and 4,772,301 prices.
