Scale focused search
A user requested that searches could focus on a specific scale, so search now understands what you mean if you write “scale ho” and similar search queries. For example “n scale steam locomotives” to get steam locomotives in scale N.
Faster searches
I also improved the database queries related to searches, so results are returned faster when you search.
FAQ added
A user requested that I added a FAQ, so he could get some questions answered. I’ll add to the FAQ as I get relevant questions. You can find the FAQ here.
Brand pages
I have added a new page type, so brands can get presented better. Now each brand can have all their product categories be presented on the same pages. For example this Kibri brand page.
New name
Finally (and probably the biggest change), my site got a new name. It is now called “Model Prices” instead of the old name “Model Train Prices”.
Choose to rename the site so I’m ready for if (when? 😅) I add other modelling products than just model train products. Read more about the new name here.
